Initially focused on presentation training I coached CEO’s and FD’s and Directors in preparation for bi- annual company results, AGM’s, M&A, flotation and internal employee communication. Aside from shaping content my focus was on unlocking the power, effectiveness and entitlement of the speaker using a mixture of psychological tools and innovative methods of preparation.
Through organic growth, consistent results and client request these skills translated across into executive coaching. I cultivated my own awareness by constant self- improvement programmes, and by the early 90’s I was in demand as a coach and mentor working with senior and high potential clients and departments across a range of sectors including financial services, telecommunications, professional services, media, entertainment, retail and utilities.
I worked on word of mouth and recommendation only. My complete discretion and deliberately low profile attracted high profile clients and well known personalities.
After 26 years in the business I have refined my work down to one on one coaching focusing on specific areas that engage me most, where I can be authentic as a broadly psychological coach, and where my track record demonstrates I get excellent results in the most cost effective time frame.
I am known to have a straight bat with a light touch. I am quick to assess and fulsome in feedback. I get results. I am also fiercely committed to the personal growth of my clients, some of which, through many a metamorphosis, have been with me since the beginning. Being coached should be absorbing, interesting, expanding and fun. The programme and investment in time should be realistic. Ultimately it should provoke shift and change in behaviour, inspire innovative strategic thought and have a transformational effect on the individual.
